The beginning of chapter 9, they describe how William Shakespeare is nice person and that he got Kit and Peter some roles for plays that he wrote himself. They had gone back to the theatre where they had refused to take them in before, but now that Shakespeare took them they got parts of playing in some plays. As they we’re getting used to they’re life, they had been practicing for a big play that Shakespeare had written that was called “Romeo & Juliet”.
Peter did not get the part of Romeo but Kit got the part as Juliet, and acted her part very well. Once it was they’re big nights, Kit sort of left and didn’t want to do the play very last minute, but luckily Peter had been to all they’re practices and memorized everyone’s lines and could basically play anyone in the play. So, Burbage furious about Kit leaving asked Peter to go on and play the role of Juliet immediately. Peter ran on stage when it was his part and realized that Sir Phillip Morton was there staring right in the eyes of Peter, but luckily he did not recognize him because of the amount of make-up that he was wearing and the clothes, he didn’t look like the actual Peter.
Once, the play had gone by smoothly, Kit had come back and was telling Peter how good his acting was, when all of a sudden Burbage came rushing in the room and was really mad at Kit. He started to tell her off and was about to do something far more badly but Shakespeare had come on time and said to him that he would handle the situation. When they we’re in the room together, Shakespeare had told Peter and Kit that he knew that Kit was a girl, but that he wouldn’t tell anyone about the secret. Also at the same time, Kit felt that she could tell Shakespeare and Peter about her whole and true story and lots of things made more sense for the both of them.
After the chat that they had among themselves, a man had come and told Peter that his performance was great and started to name all of the characters he had played during all the plays he had done. Then he asked Peter when they would be launching there new play, and the guy had said that he wasn’t going to be there at that time, and asked Peter if he could borrow the script and return it to him the next day. Peter had agreed and soon after he told Kit about what had happened, and she told him that the guy was probably not going to give the script back to him and that he was going to sell it to some other production of people and they would perform the play before them. Now Peter didn’t want that because it was Shakespeare’s play and he would be mad if he found out that Peter had done that.
The next day, Peter and Kit had gone to the place where Peter told the guy to meet him, but of course the man did not appear. As Peter was all mad that he didn’t get the script back, he all of a sudden spotted the man on top of his horse riding somewhere. Both Peter and Kit rushed to catch up to him, and finally got to him, and said that Peter let him borrow his script and that he needed it back and the man had said that he didn’t know him, and ran away on his horse. Peter had meet up with Kit later on, and Kit had gotten some excellent news on where this guy might live.
Later on that night, Peter and Kit had made a plan to get back the script. Peter had looked around the house, and found only one window that had no bars on it, so he decided to go to that window. In the mean time while he was getting up, Kit had done some distracting and started hitting something of the house, so the people from the house went down to check out what had happened, then Peter managed to get inside and got the script and got out of the window.
When the people from the house came back they had said that it was know big deal of what happened about Kit. Peter was about to get caught by the people from the house that we’re looking out the window to see who was out there, but luckily they didn’t catch him.

I chose this passage because I find it very interesting how its all the brits fault. I find it interesting that a Scottish man took his time to talk to british people since he hates them so much. The way he says things about them, saying that plagues and plays and other things were the Britans fault. And he went on and on about it.

Do you think that in the end, Peter and Kit will fall in love? How and why? I think that Peter and Kit will fall in love because they complete each other and are just so perfect together. They will probably find this out towards the end of the story, at least I hope so because, once again, they complete each other.
What do you think will happen in the end of the story? I think that Sir Philip will be put to death, Peter and Kit will get married and that Peter and Kit will become Shakespeare's sidekicks.
Do you think that Shakespeare will become as famous as he is now? I think that Shakespeare will become as famous as he is now because his plays are just so amazing, I think that the rest of the population of London will realize that towards the end of the book.
